Dear All,
We want to express our gratitude to each and every one of you for supporting LACSI.
Your generosity has surpassed our expectations for this year's Dawg Day of Giving. It will certainly contribute to sustaining the work of the Institute and our standing-alone (and most popular) programs: the Weekly Language Conversation Tables and the Latin American Ethnobotanical Garden (soon to be named the UGA Ethnobotanical Garden of the Americas).
With your participation and support, we remain committed to our mission to promote research, education, and service and outreach on Latin America, the Caribbean, and U.S. Latino/a/es.
Sincerely,
Chad, Jorge, Carla, Nunally, Mario, and Katie.

A message from LAEG Curator:
For the remainder of the semester, I will be in the garden on Tuesdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Wednesdays 12:00 and 4:00 p.m.
Please feel free to swing by and I'll put you to work weeding, shoveling mulch and/or cutting things back... or we can just talk about plants.
If you are interested and can't make it during these times, reach out to me at Nunally.Benzing@uga.edu and we'll see what we can make work.
