Mexican Environments, Labor, and the Taller de Gráfica Popular remains open until September 4, 2026 at the Georgia Museum of Art (GMOA). Led by Dr. Pablo Lapegna (Sociology and LACSI) and GMOA associate curator of academic and campus engagement, Alexis Gorbis, the exhibit was co-curated by students in Environmental Justice in Latin America and the Caribbean (LACS 4211/6211). The works on display belong to Mexico’s Taller de Gráfica Popular (TGP), an artist collective founded in 1937 that used printmaking to champion social justice.
