The 21st century has been the era of disposable clothing. Worn once, twice, and then discarded, these items accumulate in closets, donation bins, and landfills, while the production of new garments releases toxic waste into the environment.

In El Tiempo of Bogotá, Fernando Gómez Echeverri offered a profile of artist and designer Juliana Correa, whose work brings to light the realities of the garment industry.
